Contracts Paralegal

Openforce is an industry leader in enterprise software as a service (SaaS) and rapidly growing in the Metro Phoenix area. We are seeking a Contracts Paralegal to join our team.

Reporting to the Risk Manager this role is responsible for a combination of legal and compliance document control, wage garnishment review and disposition and general legal support, while helping maintain the company’s overall legal compliance platform.  The candidate will have knowledge of contract construction and drafting, as well as the ability to discover and mitigate potential risks for the organization.


Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for contracts through their lifecycle including initial preparation, review and approval of revisions, maintenance of version control, tracking of renewal and termination dates, finalization and execution, and the related updating of all systems with the final contract details
  • Analyze outside party’s requested revisions to ensure compliance with company’s policies, and offer suggested alternative language
  • Review, respond to and direct the implementation of various state wage garnishment dispositions
  • Ensures all garnishment payments are accurate and in compliance with withholding orders and the laws
  • Assist Risk Manager, Director of Compliance, outside counsel, and CEO with responding to various legal matters as needed
  • Prepare and maintain records in and MS Office 365, and OneDrive
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions that could impact the company, both legally and financially
  • Monitor and communicate with internal and external stakeholders



  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 3-5 years of relative contract and legal experience
  • Knowledge of contracting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of legal principles, practices and terminology
  • Knowledge of researching state statues
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Excellent MS Word, Acrobat, Excel and Outlook skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail is imperative

Job Type:         Full Time Exempt

Salary:              DOE

Travel:              Up to 5% quarterly or as needed
